JOB DESCRIPTION

Our ideal candidate will be driven, disciplined and have previous experience in conducting product demonstrations. They will thrive in a fast paced environment, enjoy being on the move and be highly skilled in generating new sales leads on a regular basis. Effective communication and a natural aptitude in understanding and driving budgets will be a key motivator, alongside taking enjoyment from being part of a high performing team.


Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed sales targets by providing customer education on DJO products, applications and benefits to ensure best possible patient outcomes, best clinical practice and sustained utilization of products.
  • Develop sales and territory management plans in conjunction with the Business Manager (s) in order to ensure resources are focused to achieve maximum market impact.
  • Conduct visits to build relationships with existing and prospective customers and introduce DJO products, therapy approaches and their benefits to create demand for products.
  • Install equipment for clinical trials of DJO products, educate customers employees, and remedy any issues or problems in order to ensure acceptance of products.
  • Liaise with customers regulatory, compliance and technical departments to ensure all compliance barriers are overcome.
  • Liaise with purchasing, clinicians or other key decision makers to facilitate the authorization of the sale and ensure funds are made available for equipment purchase.
  • Install products, train and support customers and employees to ensure customer satisfaction and correct use of product.
  • Provide post sales education, trouble shooting and complaint resolution to promote early identification of customer issues, ensure correct use of equipment, drive consumable sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Be proactive in making recommendations to the management for improvements.
  • Maximize synergies with other DJO Global business units.
  • Ensure management is kept informed of any irregularities or non-conformance.
  • Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with the relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation.
  • Work within and actively promote DJO’s core mission, corporate strategies, policies, procedures and Code of Conduct.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • At least 3 years working in the medical industry
  • Computer literacy including sound knowledge of the MS Office suite of software.
  • Sound working knowledge of OH&S / Risk Management / Workers Compensation legislation and Principles.
  • Sound working knowledge of EEO and anti-discrimination legislation and principles.
