A rare opportunity exists for an experienced acute Senior Clinician to join our progressive Speech Pathology Department. Based at Footscray Hospital, you will have clinical leadership of acute services across Western Health with a clinical specialty in ENT and Head & Neck services. As an integral part of the senior leadership team, you will promote creativity, team effectiveness and evidenced based patient care.
To be Successful in this Role you will have:

  • Strong leadership skills, including proven interpersonal and communication skills

  • Expertise in complex dysphagia and communication assessment and management within the acute setting

  • Experience in Head & Neck, including laryngectomy management and the assessment and management of voice disorders.

  • Proven ability to lead and supervise staff and students

  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement, clinical research and professional development of self and others

  • Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
