JOB DESCRIPTION

The Division of Chronic and Complex Care is seeking Administrative Assistants to work Full Time or Part Time. If you are looking for a challenge, working in a demanding environment and also enjoy variety in your role then this is it.


The Administrative Assistant will provide accurate and timely support to the Chronic & Complex Care Division which has services located across Western Health’s sites. The role may also support other areas of the Operations Division as the position requires. The main tasks include statistical data entry, word processing, referral processing and discharging, Dictaphone typing, and day to day reception and telephone enquiries. Administration staff may be required to work a 7 day rotating roster.


To be Successful in this Role you will have:



  • The ability to provide high quality customer service in a busy reception environment

  • Excellent verbal, telephone and written communication skills

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills in a team environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook and Excel
