What you'll be doing

Responsible for the coordination, maintenance and monitoring of anaesthetic equipment and supplies to assist the anaesthetist in the provision of safe anaesthesia delivery.

  • Holds a Diploma issued by the Society of Anaesthetic and Operating Theatre Technicians and has a minimum of two years post-graduate service as an Anaesthetic and Operating Theatre Technician
  • Ability to organise, set up and coordinate the effective utilisation of anaesthetic equipment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and clinical problem solving skills to maximise patient care
  • Relevant experience in acute clinical practice in the Perioperative environment.
  • Demonstrated effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in an environment providing patient outcome-based care.
  • Ability to work 7-day rotating roster including on call
