What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Director Redevelopment, Campbelltown Hospital, the Project Officer works with other team members to progress high quality planning, delivery, compliance and reporting for the Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment project.

The incumbent will apply sound project and change management expertise to assess and progress project planning, designing and commissioning / transition requirements. The incumbent will liaise with project and facility staff to ensure projects can be undertaken to minimise disruption to hospital business whilst delivering project outcomes within project scope, time frames and budgets.

How to Apply

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Demonstrated project experience delivering outcomes on time and within budget for large / complex health organisations
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing effective transition and change in a health service including knowledge of change management methodologies
  • Highly developed negotiation, consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders and objectivity in decision-making
  • Knowledge of inter-relationship between models of care, facility and departmental operational policies and procedures
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and develop high quality business documentation
  • Demonstrate high level analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail including the ability to provide authoritative advice
  • Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
