Program Manager

Hunter New England Population Health (HNEPH) delivers services that support the development and maintenance of healthy environments, healthy communities and healthy people. Our mission is to protect and promote the health and well-being of people in the Hunter, New England and wider communities.

The role of the Good for Kids, Good for Life team is to support early childhood education and care (ECEC) services and family day care service providers in the Hunter New England Local Health District by promoting healthy eating, physical activity and the reduction of small screen time. The health promotion services are delivered in line with the Munch and Move program, which is a NSW Health Initiative.

As a Program Manager, you will:
  • Bring with you a range of relevant health promotion and/or research skills relating to childhood obesity prevention.
  • You will need to be able to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams to provide services and research that support the reduction in childhood healthy eating and physical activity in children aged 0-5 years.
