Integrated Violence Abuse and Neglect Coordinator

About the role:
As the Integrated Violence Abuse and Neglect Coordinator you will provide clinical leadership of integrated crisis responses to people who have experienced violence, abuse and neglect presenting to HNE Health facilities, in line with the NSW Health iPARVAN Framework objectives. You will support and collaborate with operational managers and VAN leads in identifying and implementing 24/7 integrated crisis counselling, medical and forensic responses to violence, abuse and neglect at identified sites.
You will also support VAN Social Workers in the development and implementation of localised training initiatives to enhance capacity of local Health services to respond to domestic and family violence and child protection concerns for patients and their families. You will be supported in this role with members of the VAN leadership team across HNE, with strong collaborative functioning and support.

About you:
You are a highly motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You hold relevant qualifications in social work, psychology, nursing or allied health and post graduate qualifications are highly regarded. You are a dynamic thinker with strong experience in change management in clinical settings, using your skills and experience to effectively complete tasks.
