The Role

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Technician to join our Perioperative team at The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH).

The role is responsible for the transporting and transfer of patients, restocking and location of clinical supplies, setting up operating theatre equipment, cleaning and maintenance of theatre equipment and assisting with the positioning of patients.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:
  • Demonstrated experience as a theatre technician
  • Certificate 3 in health services assistance Operating Theatre Technician.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated, team-oriented, with commitment to continuous improvement
