We are currently seeking applications for a Physiotherapist to join our Capacity Building - Community team on a select Permanent Full Time basis working 76 hours per fortnight.

Physiotherapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to actively promote choice, control and quality of life for our clients. This is a diverse role, working with clients and families to optimise individual capabilities, working with them to meet their goals and maintain their safety, independence and comfort.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • The abiltiy to deliver a strong clinical assessment and evaluation service
  • Strong commitment to providing, and the capability to deliver, safe high quality care
  • Strong person-centred skills in communicating and engaging with clients with high support needs including cognitive impairment, brain injury, and dementia
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and meet deadlines
  • Working knowledge of occupational safety and health legislation; Aged Care Act (1997); and/or Disability Services Commission Standards (1988)
  • Hold a ‘C’ class drivers licence and own a reliable car
  • Have a satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months old
  • Have a satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • First Aid Certificate less than 3 years old
  • Up to date Flu Vaccination
