What You Will Be Doing

The Administrative Lead will work together with the COVID-19 Vaccination Project Lead, Nurse Unit Managers, Application Specialist and Pharmacy Leads to ensure smooth running of the vaccination program.

You will be responsible for ensuring effective functioning of administrative operations through all aspects of the public vaccination program.

The Administrative Lead will provide oversight of the clerical team in relation to the set-up of vaccination clinics within the system, and use of CVMS within the public vaccination clinic and will be responsible for implementing processes to ensure the CVMS system is appropriately used throughout the service, and accurately reflects the consumer journey.

This is a critical position that enables effective communication across all departments as well as broader Peninsula Health personnel.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
  • Experience in a senior administration role (essential)
  • Experience with rostering and allocating staff to meet local demand (essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and MS Teams) (essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including professional telephone manner (essential)
  • High levels of motivation (essential)
  • Experience within a health service (desirable)
  • Current Driver’s License (desirable)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology(desirable)
  • Willingness to maintain and advance knowledge relevant to the position (desirable)
