About the role

  • Conveniently located in Eastwood with undercover parking
  • Flexible Part-Time and job share role
  • 3 days per week (24 hours) per week Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.

We're seeking an enthusiastic and diligent receptionist who is invested in making the experience of arriving at our Head Office highly professional and welcoming, whilst also contributing to the wider effectiveness of the office.

Reporting to the General Manager Finance, you will be responsible for all reception duties within Eldercare at its Head Office.

You will play a key role in the smooth running of the front of house, to make it a pleasant and welcoming arrival experience for all those who are visiting, working or enquiring about the organisation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other aspects of the business, enabling this role to further provide a meaningful contribution to our success.

Given the role is a job-share, ideally, you will have some flexibility to work additional days from time to time to cover periods of leave.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Flexibility in working hours to suit requirements of the position
  • Prior experience working in a Receptionist role
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to deal with residents, families, visitors, suppliers and staff in a professional manner
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as role will require you to answer all incoming telephone calls and handle caller inquiries whenever possible
  • Ability to be proactive and self-motivated
  • A genuine interest in the age care sector for a not for profit organisation
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software in particular Outlook, Word, Excel
