About The Role

As a Lifestyle Assistant, you have a vital role to play in delivering the lifestyle programs and ensuring that all residents are able to participate. We are looking for someone that is passionate about assisting our residents with their daily needs, has great creativity and strives to ensure our residents have personalised lifestyle activities that suit their interests. This is a fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend, commencing as soon as possible. This is a part time role working 5 days per fortnight (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday) (Week 2: Thursday).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in carrying out lifestyle assessments of residents
  • Actively participate in the delivery of activity programs
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation reflecting any changes to residents status
  • Liaise with residents and their families

& Experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge regarding the ACFI framework (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
  • Full Australian Drivers License
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience using a computerised Care Management System (desirable)
  • Outstanding computer literacy
To be eligible to join the team at Regis we require the following:
  • Consistent with State and Territory public health orders and with Regis’ mandatory vaccination policy, all candidates must produce evidence that they have received the current (i.e. 2021) seasonal influenza vaccination or medical evidence to Regis’ satisfaction of an accepted clinical contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccination
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Valid National Police Check (Full disclosure or standard disclosure)
