Role Overview:

This role forms part of Stride’s multidisciplinary team supporting the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

This role is designed to provide practice supervision for the NDIS Therapeutic Supports Clinicians. The Practice Supervisor will ensure the quality and safety of services provided to the community is maintained and improved through the development of knowledge and competence in those who are delivering services.

The overall aims of the role is to:

  • Support NDIS Therapeutic Support Clinician to provide safe and quality interventions within their scope of practice
  • Support NDIS Therapeutic Support Clinicians to build skills and capability to support people with complex and enduring mental health issues


  • Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and full registartion with the appropriate professional body (general or clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Accredited OT, Credentialed Mental Health Nurse
  • Evidence of Supervision Training by a recognised body
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in providing high-quality practice supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and excellent interpersonal and communication skills in relation to clients, clinical and non-clinical staff and stakeholders
  • Awareness of relevant legislation/policies and issues informing health and other services for people experiencing mental illness.
  • Demonstrated capacity to be innovative in clinical approaches
  • Technology literate – ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Mastercare, other Client Management Systems (CMS) and related technology systems
