The Physiotherapist (CABIRS), Paediatric Rehabilitation is primarily responsible for the implementation and evaluation of high quality and evidence based Physiotherapy services to children and young people with mild to moderate traumatic brain injury. The Physiotherapist may also provide services to those with acquired brain injury, spinal pathology, cerebral palsy and complex rehabilitation needs. Services may be provided to inpatients, outpatients or at outreach locations.

As a key member of the Paediatric Rehabilitation team, the Physiotherapist will encourage and support team work amongst staff for optimal patient outcomes. The Physiotherapist is responsible to ensure that the continuum of care for clients into the community is seamless.
