JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role
We are looking for a program manager, to join our focused team, who has a track record of building relationships and can influence at all levels across the organisation to spearhead our projects over the next 12 months, with possibility for extension.

This role is full of variety and is responsible for effectively managing the team’s research the program, ranging from the managing compliance with governance, ethics and internal and external reporting requirements to managing finances and budgets. Your priority will be to use your strong people skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and deliver the projects priorities.

Your success will be judged on effective and efficient management of team resources, ensuring research projects are completed on time and to the highest standards across the team, and the development of high-quality collaborative relationships within the team and with internal and external stakeholders.

Your Experience

You will be an experienced professional who can work well under pressure and handle competing priorities. The key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following:

  • Proven ability to prepare and control budgets and to deliver organisational and individual goals on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and work effectively in a complex and changing environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills combined with outstanding oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in managing competing priorities and projects with the ability to exercise a flexible approach to changing parameters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health, research or business-related field and/or Project Management certification.
  • Demonstrated interest in research/academic or highly technical environments.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
