This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Part Time appointment with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

This position is for Senior Occupational Therapists providing clinical services in the areas of Adolescent Medicine and Rheumatology.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/9/2022.

This is a Fixed Term opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of Parental Leave.

Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and enthusiastic persons to the position of Senior Occupational Therapist in the areas of Adolescent Medicine and Rheumatology. In this position, you will plan, implement and evaluate Occupational Therapy services using advanced occupational therapy practice skills providing appropriate screening, assessment, treatment and clinical review of inpatients and outpatients in the clinical areas of Adolescent Medicine and Rheumatology.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) aims to ensure that the children and young people of Western Australia get the best start in life through health promotion; early intervention; and patient centred, family-focused care.

CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
