The role
Our facility at the Parkville Youth Justice Centre is looking for Primary Care Nurses to join their primary care team, in either a Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual basis. Working with this patient group is rewarding as the healthcare you provide can have a positive impact for a lifetime. You will deliver a Nurse led model of care for young people, in a fast and challenging environment. Shifts are on a 7 day rotating roster, you will have the flexibility to work varying shifts including morning, afternoon and night duty. 

Essential experience and attributes:

  • Registered General Nurse Qualification
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • A minimum of one year full time post graduate nursing experience
  • Recent nursing experience in an acute and/or primary healthcare setting
  • Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills
