JOB DESCRIPTION

Higher Solution Specialists is a privately-owned company that has built a strong reputation amongst all our clients as being a quality recruitment provider.

Currently we are seeking a Compliance Officer for a renowned higher education institution in Perth.

Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the Compliance Officer will deliver quality assurance and compliance to ensure the organisation meets their regulatory requirements with ASQA and other funding bodies.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and compliance on the VET sector quality framework and regulatory requirements
  • Compliance assistance with internal audits reviews
  • Compliance assistance with course reviews
  • Compliance assistance with assessment validation
  • Maintain trainer qualification register
  • Assist in ensuring that student files are compliant with ASQA requirements.
  • Develop, review and maintain relevant policies and procedures across the organisation are compliant with ASQA requirements
  • Contribute to ensuring that training and assessment materials and strategies are compliant with ASQA requirements
  • Contribute to and implement continuous improvement across the organisation


 Key Skills and responsibilities for this role:


  • Previous experience working in a compliance or quality assurance role essential
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTO's highly regarded
  • Experience in using an RTO student management system highly regarded
  • Able to work in multi-disciplined teams with high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Independent research skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
