Two of our five hospitals – Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital (RBWH) and The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) – are tertiary/quaternary referral hospitals, providing state-wide super specialty services, such as heart and lung transplantation and burns treatment. Redcliffe and Caboolture are major secondary hospitals, and Kilcoy is a regional community hospital.

About The Role

  • Provide expert leadership to clinical and service improvement activities and initiate, encourage and participate in extensive, evaluation and innovative treatment and care aimed at achieving demonstrable improvements in service outcomes.
  • Provide clinical services to patients of the hospital commensurate with level of expertise.
  • The appointee to this position will be expected to undertake research activities in areas relevant to Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology.
  • Co-operation with other disciplines within this hospital complex will be essential.
  • Actively participate in the hospitals post graduate medical education program.
