About The Role

We have an immediate start full-time permanent role available for a passionate Physiotherapist as Operations Support.

Requirements

This role requires the successful candidate will be able to travel to ensure coverage and to fulfil the requirements of the role, as such the role can be based in
  • Sydney
  • Wollongong
  • Illawarra
  • Canberra
The role will include supporting the organisation in a clinical, training and consultative capacity in the following sectors:
  • Aged Care
  • Community Care
  • Disability Care
The Operations Support role will be complementary to your Physiotherapist position and will incorporate off-site/office days in accordance with the needs of the organisation.

Physiotherapist - Core Responsibilities
  • Establishing specific goals and designing effective individualised programs
  • Completing physiotherapy assessments and reviews
  • Driving falls prevention initiatives, post-fall assessments, and ongoing reviews
  • Delivering group and individual rehabilitation and re-ablement programs
  • Offering musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, rehabilitative, and pain management treatments
  • Completing weekly reporting
  • Driving innovation through creativity and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prescribing equipment to improve function and quality of life
Operations Support - Core Responsibilities
  • Regular communication with internal management
  • Covering leave and absences as needed across the organisation
  • Building and supporting a list of Community & Disability Care patients in your local area
  • ACFI Consultancy and auditing onsite across the organisation
  • Traning and support of clinicians within the organisation in line with Guide expectations and best practice
  • Liaising with onsite management

Selection Criteria
  • Full AHPRA registration – this is essential to ensure any training provided to other staff is delivered by a suitably qualified clinician.
  • Flexibility and ability to travel both Intrastate and Interstate to support the needs of the organisation
  • Full unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence & own reliable vehicle
  • Friendly demeanour and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of AACQA Standards and the ACFI (Training provided)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A demonstrated commitment and passion for promoting the quality of life of our clients
  • Ability to think creatively, develop programs, and implement systems
  • Knowledge of AACQA Standards and the ACFI
  • A passion for our Guide values and vision
  • A creative and innovative approach to the provision of Allied Health in Aged, Community & Disability Care
  • A clinician that embodies our RISE values and will lead their region in line with them
