Domestic Violence Case Manager working in a crisis accommodation service.

Domestic Violence Case Manager (R10534)

About The Role

This important position is located at Bramwell House, a facility for single women and women with children who are seeking support and relief from family violence. The facility offers six onsite units providing crisis accommodation. In the role you will carry out case planning and management. Central to your position will be the delivery of intake, assessment, crisis support and advocacy. Working with a caseload of between 12 - 15 (women and children), you will develop trust and rapport with clients, nurturing effective relationships that encourage self determination and participation. You will regularly conduct risk assessments with a priority towards ensuring safety for all clients and staff. Individual case plans will be developed with each client, along the way keeping accurate records and empowering clients to make informed choices.

About You

You are compassionate and understanding while guiding those impacted by family violence towards their choices. Whilst we welcome a relevant qualification, we especially value your experience in working directly with clients (women and children) who have experienced family violence. You will especially be an empathetic communicator, able to achieve this with women and children. You offer knowledge and insight into the impact of family violence trauma. Your track record demonstrates a capacity to assess clients and respond to their needs.
