An essential part of this service comes from our experienced clinical team. Our Booval team is currently looking for both full-time & Part-Time Occupational Therapists. Please indicate your preference in hours on your resume or cover letter.

We support our clients by promoting independence, re-enablement, and improved aspects of daily living.

Our occupational therapists provide holistic care, the right supports, and equipment that enable your clients to “do it for themselves”. This role is perfect for someone who loves to empower others.

About You

We would love to encourage recent graduates to apply. We have plenty of clinical supervision and mentoring available with a clinical manager on-site for questions and support.


Skills

With an already successful career in Occupational Therapy in either a hospital or community setting, some of your skills will include
  • Conducting home-based evaluations, devising care plans and writing functional reports
  • Assessing the home environment and prescribing aids, equipment and modifications as required
  • Planning, coordination and implementation of group therapy programs as required
  • Ability to work within a “swings and roundabouts” environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Collaborating with others but with the capacity to plan and prioritise your own workload effectively
  • Problem-solving, having an innovative approach and the ability to think outside the box
  • To enable Anglicare to continue providing high quality, client-centred care we also require the following:
    • A degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA
    • First Aid Certificate with CPR
    • Membership (or eligibility) with the Australian Association of Occupational Therapists, Queensland
    • A National Police Certificate
    • Current Queensland Driver Licence
