Clinical Midwifery Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Midwifery Manager to join our team in this Permanent Full Time opportunity


The Opportunity

As a Clinical Midwifery Manager at Joondalup Health Campus you are responsible for the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards in your designated area of responsibility – our 41-bed public obstetric and gynaecology ward and eight birth suites. Your role is to ensure the delivery of quality patient care, strategic, cost effective management of service delivery and to participate in the overall management of the facility as a member of the management team. We are looking for a Clinical Midwifery Manager who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.


What we are looking for

  • Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values.
  • Current registration in the category of Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
  • Extensive clinical and professional knowledge in midwifery and gynaecology that evidences expert clinical skills.
  • Leadership experience in midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of human resource principles including budgeting.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of quality improvement principles, research and best practice principles.
