About the role
The Nurse Resource Manager (NRM) is a senior member of the clinical team who ensures the efficient and effective coordination of hospital services after hours with a strategic view in the forward planning of admissions and discharges. The NRM will work with Clinical and Corporate Managers to ensure the continuation of optimal patient care. Also in collaboration with Clinical Managers, the Nurse Resource Manager coordinates the allocation of resources, manages theatre bookings and coordinates Emergency admissions and procedures.
What you bring
  • Registered as a Nurse with APHRA and holding a current practicing certificate
  • Minimum of 5 years post registration acute care experience
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, persuade, motivate, negotiate and effectively resolve conflict and develop functional relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Strong commitment to Customer Service
  • Knowledge of clinical compliance and regulations
  • An understanding of State and National Infection Control Standards / Guidelines
  • Knowledge of health funding principles and practices
  • Commitment to Calvary’s strategic direction, mission, values and behaviours
  • Is able to work variable shift work hours inclusive of night and weekend shifts.
