What You'll Be Doing

Aged Care Assessment Teams (ACATs) play a pivotal role in the Aged Care Assessment Program. The focus of ACAT work is to comprehensively assess the care needs or frail, older people. In doing so, they assess all the care needs of a person using a multi- disciplinary and multi- d imensional approach. The ACAT Assessor is an active member of the multi-disciplinary ACAT. Assessments are conducted for residents of SWSLHD and for people who are inpatients of hospitals in the SWSLHD.
