Job Description

About the role

As the Injury Management Specialist you will play a vital role in the success of the NSW/ACT WorkFocus team by managing some of our largest customers. By drawing upon your extensive experience and strong profile within the industry, the Injury Management Specialist will deliver services and implement Service Agreements with key customers requiring a specific focus as per business unit needs.

As a valued team member, your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment and home assessments
  • Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
  • Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce
  • Maintain quality across customer as per SLA requirements in regard to rates, costs and durations
  • Implement service as per Customer SLA
  • Autonomous and independent working capabilities

What you'll bring to the role

  • Allied Health qualifications & registration
  • Significant occupational rehabilitation industry experience
  • A specialist skill set and have a solid reputation and profile internally, and within the industry, based on knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of occupational rehabilitation services and strategic management of a portfolio
  • Demonstrated ability to independently generate referrals and build portfolio
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel (car and license essential)
