An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Orthotist / Prosthetist to join our Orthotic and Prosthetic Department.

This is a new fixed term, part time role (12 hours) to be introduced initially for 12 months and will primarily deliver services within the High Risk Foot Service (HRFS). The HRFS provides multi-disciplinary assessment and management to patients with acute and chronic foot ulceration or Charcots neuropathy that places them at risk of hospital admission, clinical deterioration and amputation. The HRFS ensures safe and effective treatment for patients through the execution of evidence based multi-disciplinary care. The team, led by the Podiatry Manager and Clinical Co-ordinator, work collaboratively for positive patient outcomes. The Austin Health HFRS team is made up of clinicians from the following disciplines: Podiatry, Endocrinology, Orthotics, Diabetes Education, Dietetics and Nutrition, Nursing and Psychology.
