Norwest Private Hospital is offering an exciting opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their in-house physiotherapy department on a full-time basis for a period of up to 6 months for a maternity leave placement.

As a Physiotherapist at Norwest Private Hospital, you will have the opportunity to rotate on a 12-week basis between various specialty physiotherapy areas, developing skills and experience across a wide range of clinical specialties including ICU/CCU, Orthopaedics, Acute geriatrics, and surgical wards.

This position is classified as Physiotherapist Level 1/2 (dependent upon years of experience).

As a Physiotherapist Your Responsibilities Will Include
  • Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
  • Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospital

Selection Criteria
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration – Physiotherapist
  • Experience across a range of acute services; including ICU, Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery
  • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills and experience working in multidisciplinary acute care hospital
  • Customer focused service delivery
  • A minimum of one years’ experience
