  • leafy, central suburb, 10/15 min drive to the heart of the city
  • this 4 GP practice, is part of a GP led group of practices
  • mixed patient demographic, with a lot of older patients, but a lot of new young families moving to the area
  • Allied Health and Medical support team includes: Nurse, Onsite Pathology, Occupational Health
  • the practice open hours are: 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturday
  • you will be expected to work: perhaps a few 7am starts and a few 6pm finishes. Saturday roster by rota (prefer some flexibility)
  • the practice has AGPAL and GP training accreditation


  • established practice (30 years) moved into a fantastic, newly fitted out practice in 2017
  • the GP designed fit- out has been done to a very high spec includung large, natural- lit consult rooms
  • this is a mixed billing practice, 40% of billing is private
  • there isn't an expectation of numbers. 15 minute appointments are the norm, so you will probably see four patients per hour. The practice is about quality of medicine not the quantity
  • you will earn 65% of billings. Initial hourly rate guarantee dependant on applicant
  • based on current figures, you can reasonably expect to be achieve billings of $2200 per day (figures from the 12 months), within weeks of your commencement

As the practice proactively works to achieve security from potential future changes to Primary Care funding, there is an investment in the high quality facilities to match excellent Practitioners working here.

There is also a focus on developing the Private GP market, as well as Occ Health, Skin (both Skin Cancer, and Cosmetic), and After- Hours.
