An exciting opportunity has become available to join The Heart and Mind Collective, a private psychology practice in Wyoming on the NSW Central Coast.

We are a trauma-informed and relationship-focused service and offer a welcoming and comfortable space for our clients. We specialise in child and adolescent services, therefore we are looking for someone who is keen to take on referrals for kids and teens from 3-16 years old.

Our team is dedicated to providing a warm, open and relaxed atmosphere to deliver high quality, evidence-based psychological support for our clients in a collaborative and holistic way.

About the role:

This position offers flexibility and independence. We are looking for a suitably qualified clinicians who is committed to providing effective treatment to clients across the lifespan.

Due to increasing demand, we are currently seeking an experienced clinician to join our practice 1-2 days per week with the option to increase. Hours are flexible depending on your needs – weekdays evenings and weekends are available.

Foundational training in trauma informed practice and attachment will be provided to the right candidate.

We are seeking a suitably qualified clinician who:

  • Is enthusiastic, professional, and committed clinician to providing high quality services to clients
  • Has a minimum of 3 years relevant post-registration experience
  • Has sound communication skills
  • Has the ability to work independently with a range of presenting issues
  • Is fully registered with their professional body AHPRA /AASW
  • Has a Medicare provider number and ABN
  • Current Criminal Record Check and Working with Children’s Check
  • The right to work in Australia
  • Referees to contact

Advantage: Current training and experience or a willingness to train in EMDR and play therapy will be beneficial to your application.

Experience in working with children with developmental trauma and attachment difficulties is highly regarded.
