Job Description

A fantastic opportunity awaits an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys working as part of a vibrant team. Aria Dental is a leader in the field of dental implants, cosmetic and rehabilitation dentistry. We aim to exceed our patients’ expectations and have a real, long lasting effect on our patients’ quality of life

Working in a full-time capacity in the Perth CBD, the successful candidate will possess a passion for patient care and excel in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Our practice is open Monday to Saturday, with our core business hours being 8.00am to 6.00pm.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Chairside assistance for all types of dentistry, including General, Orthodontics, Surgical, Implants and Prosthetics.

  • Charting and clinical notes.

  • Ensure high quality infection control.

  • Surgical level sterilisation processing

  • Process dental x-rays, OPG’s and scanning.

  • Surgery stock control and processing laboratory requirements.

  • Occasional reception duties, including processing payments using HICAPS.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.

  • Dedicated and patient-focused with a genuine long-term vision.

  • Able to work calmly and efficiently whilst providing a professional service in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Positive and proactive attitude to work and strong work ethic.

  • Honest, reliable, punctual, and flexible.

  • Cert IV qualification in Dental Assisting essential and at least 2 years’ experience as a dental nurse.

  • Experience in dental implants highly desirable.

  • Proficient in use of Dental4Windows or other Practice Management software.

On the job training will be provided to the successful candidate, both clinically and culturally. Being able to adapt to our practice philosophy is a priority for us.
