The Clinical Governance Unit (CGU) consists of two staff streams (Patient Safety, Quality & Improvement and Clinical & Enterprise Risk Management) who work closely together to drive the implementation of systems and processes to support patient safety and quality improvement across Alfred Health.


Are you a systems thinker? Do you have a passion for using data to improve patient safety and health outcomes? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic Clinical Governance team at Alfred Health. This part-time role, reporting to the Quality and Safety Data Systems Lead, will work with clinical programs and relevant internal and external stakeholder to optimise the functionality of Riskman modules to meet organization safety and quality reporting requirements. This role also supports the development and coordination of clinical data reports to foster data led decision making, risk management and continuous improvement.



Tertiary health sciences qualification;
Experience in a clinical discipline
Database management skills;
Ability to interrogate data including analysis and interpretation for improvement;
Excellent inter-personal, communication and negotiation skills;
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple key stakeholders;
Systems thinker with attention to detail
Experience successfully working as part of a team
