About the role

The Respiratory Protection Program Nurse will support the implementation and optimisation of the Eastern Health Respiratory Protection Program (RPP) across all Eastern Health sites. The position is responsible for the day to day running of Fit Testing including: set up, pre-briefing, debriefing, fit testing administration, delivery of education to protect workers from risks of respiratory hazards and the collection and collation of data.

The position will work across all Eastern health sites at the direction of the RPP Project Manager. This position may be required to facilitate fit testing outside of normal business hours based on organisational requirements.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

  • Current National Police and Working with Children History Check

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Current Nursing registration with AHPRA

  • Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Current drivers licence
