The Site Procurement officer provides exceptional procurement onsite service through advanced knowledge across the source to pay process reducing the administrative burden on clinical staff.

About The Role 


The Site Procurement officer provides exceptional procurement onsite service through advanced knowledge across the source to pay process reducing the administrative burden on clinical staff.


The role provides:



  • a full-time onsite presence for the Procurement and Supply Chain at Monash Health’s large campuses.

  • close support for the supply chain operations and sourcing teams 

  • support for new product changes and the resolution of supply issues.

  • active support and monitoring of daily supply replenishment activities, ultimately moving towards a procurement managed inventory outcome, over time.


The role is the single point of daily operational engagement for wards, theatres and business units for matters relating to procurement and supply chain.


About You


You are an engaging and outcome focussed person with an ability to foster establish effective relationships with stakeholders. You are a quick learner and able to understand and handle day to day operational challenges in a fast paced environment.


What You Need to:



  • have demonstrable experience in business relationship management, prioritization and organization skills including the ability to work unsupervised across multiple locations.

  • have an ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.

  • Be able to cultivate relationships that sustain a positive and productive inter-professional working environment.

  • Be able to treat colleagues and patients as partners in delivering outstanding outcomes.
