About Monash Imaging


Monash Imaging is Victoria’s largest public radiology provider dedicated to providing patient focused services to the people of South East Melbourne and surrounding communities. Monash Imaging has hospital sites at Clayton, Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey, Kingston and two Dental Imaging practices. Included at these sites are a full range of modalities including MRI, PET/CT, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, Interventional Angiography and Bone Densitometry.


High quality, workflow and ergonomically conscious, modern ultrasound equipment is provided at all sites, to ensure a safe and quality minded work environment.


About the Role


Be part of the Ultrasound team in the provision of high quality Womens Health ultrasound examinations with particular focus on the patient experience. A full range of Womens Health ultrasound examinations are offered at Monash Health, including tertiary services such as Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Breast. Attendance at clinical meetings and engagement in quality projects will provide a professional environment that will enable you to become a leader in Sonography.


Duties:



  • Participation in the education program;

  • Perform quality Ultrasound in a range of examinations;

  • Provide high quality ultrasound examinations, excellent patient care, clinical support and supervision to trainee sonographers across Monash Health.


You Need:



  • Graduate qualification in ultrasound which entitles the holder registration with the Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry as an Accredited Medical Sonographer (General or Obstetric)

  • Clinical experience in clinical ultrasound with Womens Health ultrasound experience;

  • Excellent customer orientation skills;

  • An ability to participate in a Quality Assurance (QA) program;

  • A demonstrated high degree of motivation, commitment and teamwork.
