The Role
In this Wound Care Consultant role, based in Richmond, you will be responsible for the clinical leadership of wound management to deliver outstanding patient care to outpatients and inpatients. You will be part of the multidisciplinary team and report to the Associate Director of Clinical Services.

You will make an impact by:

  • Providing exceptional care to patients with acute and chronic wounds, developing care plans according to current practice.
  • Being an expert resource to patients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient outcome
  • Demonstrated high level of knowledge of products, techniques and service available for wound management
  • Having an interest in research and quality activities

To be successful in this role…
You will be an excellent communicator, role model, educator and leader. You will be committed to improvement in the wound service and patient outcomes at Epworth.

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Relevant post graduate experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong writing, planning, computer and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a self-motivated, independent capacity
