Position Profile: We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join the Business Services team as an Administration Assistant. They will coordinate the on boarding of staff, provide secretarial support to WACHS Command Centre meetings, verify the accuracy of invoices received and perform other comprehensive administrative and medical workforce support services to Command Centre.

Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia. Supporting the seven regions is the Command Centre who provides a 24/7 hub of clinical specialists who through videoconferencing support WACHS Clinicians in providing care to patients in hospitals. The Command Centre hosts six streams of care including the Emergency Telehealth Service, Mental Health Telehealth service and is on a pathway to commence coordinating patient transfers and building situational awareness across WACHS. Our core business is the provision of quality, accessible health services to country WA residents and visitors.
