About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic Administration Officer to join our Community Rehabilitation team. The Community Rehabilitation team provides client-centred, goal driven rehabilitation aimed to improve client’s independence following a recent medical or health event. The Community Rehabilitation team provides both home and centre based rehabilitation.

The Administration Officer is responsible for working within the Community Rehabilitation program to provide best practice client care and achieve maximal operational effectiveness. Drawing upon professional expertise in healthcare administration, the Community Rehabilitation Administration Officer provides direct administrative support to the Community Rehabilitation manager and interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of timely client-centred care. This position is responsible for administrative duties, data entry, secretarial and reception for Dandenong/Springvale Community Rehabilitation team. The Community Rehabilitation Administration Officer participates in process and quality improvement activities within the team and larger Community Rehabilitation network.

This position is based at our Dandenong Community Rehabilitation site (122 Thomas St), however may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role

  • Experience in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Outlook/Excel) and database

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated productivity including initiative, good problem solving skills, judgement and attention to detail

What you need:

  • Minimum Certificate III Business Administration preferred or equivalent training or demonstrate experience in a similar role

  • Willingness to permit a Victorian Police Check.

  • Working with Children's Check.

  • Well-developed interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills within a broad range of administration and organisational interactions.
