Job Description

Aspen Coporate Health, a subsidiary of the Aspen Medical Group, is seeking a Medical Practitioner for the provision of medical services such as executive medical assessments, occupational health medical assessments, occupational and seasonal vaccinations, health surveillance, occupational medical opinion and employer liaison on-site work.

The Responsibilities Of This Role Include

  • providing quality and competent clinical care for all patients that attend the West Perth Clinic
  • ensuring that all services delivered comply with clinical governance obligations
  • ensuring clinical services, quality and performance are in conformance with relevant clinical policies and procedures
  • providing clinical advice on procedural, policy, equipment and facility improvements to clinical staff and managers
  • participating in other duties as required by the Manager of the West Perth Clinic.


Experience, Qualifications and Documentation Required:
  • Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery or an Australian/Overseas equivalent recognised by the Australian Medical Council
  • current unrestricted registration as a General Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • the ability to work collegially with operational and clinical staff
  • exercises sound judgement
  • effective written and verbal communication skills, with a strong emphasis on engaging with the client’s workforce
  • the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

  • postgraduate qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety
  • qualifications and experience in delivering specialised medical services, including:
    • Rail Medicals
    • Coal Board Medicals
  • qualifications or relevant experience in Travel Medicine.
