  • Contributing to curriculum improvement and helping drive consistent course offerings across Clinical Schools/Units.
  • Develop a culture that encourages and facilitates the pursuit of excellence and international profile in research and teaching.
  • Promoting medical research and supporting the delivery of the Faculty research strategy.
  • Engaging specialist medical colleges and alumni with Faculty of Medicine teaching and research and advocating for UQ in their respective healthcare organisations and communities.

This position will primarily be based at the recently completed Centre for Children’s Health Research (CCHR), a $134 million purpose-built research facility adjacent to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.

The successful applicant will report to the Executive Dean, Faculty of Medicine and will work closely with the Medical Dean regarding Mayne Academy responsibilities.
