Located on the edge of Adelaide's CBD adjacent to the beautiful South Eastern Park Lands, St Andrew's is the largest independent private Hospital in Australia, with 30,000 procedures being performed each year. Our patients are admitted electively or via our Emergency Service, and we cater for most surgical specialties including, but not limited to, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, vascular, urology, colorectal, orthopaedics, daVinci (Robotic) systems, breast and gynaecology,. Building on our successful base, in 2018 we completed a $50 million upgrade and expansion of our clinical facilities with more improvements planned for 2021 and beyond.

Our state of the art Angiography Suite provides a range of procedures including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary intervention and stent insertions with adjunct procedures such as Rotablator, FFR, IVUS and OCT; Pacemaker/ Defibrillator insertion; EP studies; radiology and vascular interventions. The unit has a strong focus on innovation, teaching and research.

About The Role

We are interested in hearing from Registered Nurses with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a Cardiac Unit who are looking to work within a well established Angiography Suite. This is a great opportunity to gain more experience in a Cath Lab setting to further complement your exisiting skills.

In addition to your recent and extensive experience, you will need to demonstrate:
  • a commitment to delivering best practice patient care
  • well-developed organisation and prioritisation skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to your continued professional development
  • an interest in mentoring and educating our up-and-coming nursing students and graduates
  • the ability to maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • significant experience in a similar fast-paced environment
  • current registration with AHPRA and the ability to legally live and work in Australia
Post graduate qualifications in cardiac nursing and/or significant experience in a Cath Lab will be highly regarded.


This is a casual position.The lab routinely functions Monday-Friday with on-call as required.
