An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Brain Disorders Program. 

The Brain Disorder Unit (BDU) is a specialist, state-wide, 30 bed slow stream rehabilitation unit providing services to clients between the ages of 16-65 living with an acquired brain injury and a mental illness.

The unit is located within the scenic gardens and grounds of Royal Talbot Hospital campus, Austin Health Kew.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist Grade 2  who has an interest in working within a specialist mental health service and a desire to provide quality care within a recovery oriented and client centred context.

We will provide the successful applicant with a friemdly and supportive work environment, a comprehensive orientation and support from a large, experienced multidisciplinary team. We will also provide ongoing access to continuing professional development opportunities within the wider Brain Disorder Program.

This role allows the candidate to apply and further develop a wide variety of Occupational Therapist skills and leadership skills within a slow stream rehabilitation context.
