The Position 


Position Title: Administration Support – Emergency Medicine Education and Training (EMET)
Classification: HS1
Salary per hour (exc. super): $29.58 
Hours per fortnight: 32
Employment Status: Part Time - Fixed Term



This role provides important administration support to the Emergency Department at Bendigo Health. This position assists nursing, allied health and medical staff in a busy and dynamic environment. There is an EMET (Emergency Medicine Education and Training) support aspect of the position providing support as directed by the Emergency Department Personal Assistant to the Director of Emergency Medicine.


You will be working as part of a team as well as independently and will be required to prioritise multiple tasks. If you have strong administration experience, high level of computer skills in databases, Microsoft word and Excel and an ability to operate in a busy and dynamic environment of change then we encourage you to apply.

The Team


The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and speciality services including; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics and Mental Health Services.


The Emergency Department (ED) sees around 60,000 patients each year, making it one of the busiest emergency departments in regional Victoria. The ED is open 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals including emergency medicine specialist doctors, critical care trained nurses, nurse practitioners specialising in emergency care and physiotherapists with expertise in urgent conditions, supported by technical and administration staff.
