We are seeking applications from experienced Physiotherapy Assistants & Occupational Therapy Assistants to fulfil a range of rosters covering shifts at our Salter Point facility, south of the river.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, organising and implementing therapeutic activities under the direction of the Physiotherapist, Registered Nurse or Service Manager
  • Maintain records, statistics and progress notes
  • Document resident’s responses to treatment programs and report to PT/OT/RN
  • Contributes information to resident assessment and care plans
  • Assists with residents’ personal care needs to the extent necessary to ensure resident safety, comfort and satisfactory completion of planned programs
  • Attend and actively participate in regular compulsory training, meetings and competency sessions
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families and team members


The successful candidate will possess the following criteria and experience:

  • 12 months' experience as a PTA/ OTA in either an aged care or hospital environment
  • Satisfactory completion of or in the process of completing an Accredited Physiotherapy Assistants Course
  • Valid Police Clearance less than 6 months old (or ability to provide a receipt at interview stage)
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
