An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, motivated and innovative ACPA National Partnerships Consultant to join the ACPA team in a casual position.

Advance Care Planning Australia (ACPA)

ACPA is the leading national authority for advance care planning and advance care directives. We deliver national advance care planning coordination and policy advocacy via leadership, engagement, communications, advisory services, quality improvement, and education and information resources for consumers, the health and aged care workforce, and service providers.

Position Purpose

To provide strategic engagement and partnerships leadership and support to the national Advance Care Planning Australia program and Program Director.

Key functions of the role include:

  • Expertise in aged or primary care, stakeholder engagement and partnerships, and strategy.

  • Ability to design, develop a plan, and implement partnership strategies to support effective advance care planning interventions and outcomes in the aged and/or primary care sectors.

  • Plan and build partnerships across a variety of stakeholder groups to achieve improved implementation of ACPA resources and services.

  • Improve ACPA’s understanding of the aged and/or primary care sectors, funding models, networks, and opportunities.

  • Ability to represent ACPA in advance care planning, palliative care and/or end-of-life governance roles, if required.

  • Proactively identify barriers and enablers in relation to ACPA resources and service implementation.
