About the role:
John Hunter Hospital is seeking a resourceful and motivated Administration Officer to provide efficient and effective administrative/clerical service across our Clinical Infomation Department. This role will see you joining a large and diverse team of 30 people that together provide a Digital Medical Record of the Hospital. You will be an integral and valued part of our team and we will provide you with on the job training for all aspects of the role to support your development.

Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital, teaching hospital and community hospital featuring fifteen operating theatres, 550 adult beds and 101 paediatric beds. With the busiest ED in the state, major trauma centre for Northern NSW and delivering services to people of all ages from birth, to childhood and adulthood, it is a great place to develop or start your career.

About the role:
The successful candidate will be a flexible and self motivated teamplayer. You will have high attention to detail, time management skills and organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve work outcomes. You will have excellent listening and questioning skills applied to a customer service environment and have the ability to participate in a rotating roster and work shift work as required.
