Northern Beaches Hospital is a fully licensed private hospital, providing care to both public and private patients from an outstanding facility, with a large range of quality services provided by exceptional nurses, doctors and staff.

We are seeking a highly experienced Team Leader/Office Manager to join our friendly Dialysis team and Day Medical Unit, working alongside clinicians and nurses.

The Team Leader/ Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective provision of administration services to the Day Medical Unit and associated Outpatient services and provide leadership to the DMU administrative team

To be successful in this role, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Demonstrate proven leadership in front office management
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Broad administration experience, with proven ability to work effectively and manage workloads
  • Fluency in English with ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with a wide variety of people, both internal and external stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
  • Understanding of medical terminology would be an advantage
  • Intermediate skills in IT systems, in particular MSOffice and databases
  • Desirable experience of inpatient management systems e.g. WebPAS
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, providing excellent customer service and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
  • Ability to learn and perform new tasks quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Commitment to ensuring high level of service is delivered at all times
