The Western Aged Care Assessment Service (WACAS) is seeking a motivated person with exemplary leadership skills and solid experience in Aged Care Assessment to be an integral member of our Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will join a team of highly engaged professionals who have made significant improvements to the delivery of assessment services at Western ACAS. We welcome diversity and energy to our team as we provide for the assessment of care needs of the elderly who live in the Western Region of Melbourne.

To be Successful in this Role you are/have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA or ASW (or eligible for the latter)

  • Minimum 2 years-experience as an Aged Care Assessor

  • Experience working across various ACAS roles

  • Completed training as a Delegate for the Secretary of the Department of Health

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Adaptability, resilience and an ability to implement change within a team

  • Demonstrated Leadership skills

  • Strong organisational skills and initiative in problem solving

  • Above average ICT Skills
