  • Indicative Total Remuneration: $533,659 - $674,891* - Long Term Contract - F/T - MD2

    * Note: The Indicative Total Remuneration is inclusive of Award Salary, Superannuation, Divisional Managerial Allowance and other monetary benefits. 

This is an integral role to the successful delivery of services within the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). As the executive lead accountable for clinical governance within CAMHS, you will also be the professional lead for all Psychiatrists and Medical Officers in the service. Providing strategic clinical leadership and significantly contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives, you will be an appropriately qualified medical professional who has the clinical experience, knowledge and skills to provide high level clinical advice. You will also play a pivotal role in contributing to service planning and assisting in the development and implementation of clinical networks, State-wide plans and clinical Senate recommendations and their plans.

The Women’s & Children’s Health Network was established to promote, maintain and restore the health of women, children and young people in South Australia. The Service plans, develops and coordinates health services including specialist hospital services, primary health care and population health programs, integrated community care services, Aboriginal health programs, education and training programs, and research.

Holding a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, you will have appropriate specialist qualifications and be registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration. You will also possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent, with membership of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Demonstrating extensive clinical experience in the field of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, you will have sound management expertise, including the ability to set clear directions and create a culture of performance and cohesive team functioning.
