The opportunity..

We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager to work at Regis Caboolture.

Reporting directly into the General Manager, this is an opportunity for someone who has a sound background in management and is looking to start their career within the Aged Care space or further develop their knowledge and skills in Aged Care while being supported and mentored by an experienced manager.

This role creates the perfect stepping stone for someone who is looking to break into a rapidly growing industry. Your commitment and dedication will be imperative, as will a demonstrated pride in service excellence, to enable success in this role.

Key responsibilities..

  • Ensure compliance with all WHS processes
  • Working closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and effective culture;
  • Interacting with the residents and their families daily;
  • Sales and Marketing of the Facility;
  • Management of the facility P&L;
  • HR and staff management;
  • Full oversight of the Catering, Laundry, Maintenance and Administration areas;
  • Completing a thorough on boarding program and developing the knowledge and skills required to be a Facility Manager;

About you..

This position would be suited to someone who is eager to learn, dynamic in personality and is ideally tertiary qualified in business, health or a hospitality related discipline. Experience in aged care or health services targeted to older people will be very well regarded.

Ideally you will be experienced within a multi-faceted, service based environment although this may come from a variety of industries. A natural leader and motivator, your communication skills will be exemplary.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven ability to successfully lead and motivate services teams, providing strong and positive leadership whilst guiding strategic direction.

To be eligible to join the team at Regis we require the following:

  • Valid National Police Check (Full disclosure or standard disclosure
  • Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
  • Consistent with State and Territory public health orders and with Regis’ mandatory vaccination policy, all candidates must produce evidence that they have received the current (i.e. 2021) seasonal influenza vaccination or medical evidence to Regis’ satisfaction of an accepted clinical contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccination
  • Subject to change, as per the relevant State and Territory Public Health Orders.
